Our IPAF 3a 3b Operator Course is designed to equip you with skills and knowledge to safely operate mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), commonly known as scissor lifts and boom lifts.

This course combines e-learning theory with practical sessions conducted over the weekend, ensuring maximum flexibility and learning efficiency.

Upon successful completion, you will receive a globally recognised IPAF operator licence, demonstrating your competence in operating both scissor lifts (3a) and boom lifts (3b). This qualification is essential for working in various industries, including construction, events, and maintenance.

Entry requirements

Entry Requirements

To enrol in our IPAF course, you must:

Be at least 16 years old
Have a good understanding of the English language
Be physically fit to operate MEWPs

No prior experience is required.

Assessment

How It Works:

Register: First, you register for the IPAF 3a 3b Operator Course through our website or by contacting us.
Receive E-Learning Link: After registration, you’ll receive a link to access the online e-learning modules.
Complete Theory: You’ll complete the theoretical portion of the course online, at your own pace.
Booking Confirmation: Once you’ve finished the online modules, we’ll confirm your booking for the practical assessment.
Practical Assessment: You’ll attend the practical session, where you’ll demonstrate your skills operating both scissor lifts (3a) and/ or boom lifts (3b).

To achieve certification, you must successfully pass both the theoretical and practical assessments.

A digital card and certificate will be provided upon successful completion of the course.
A hard copy licence can be requested, please contact our office for this.
