Our IPAF 3a 3b Operator Course is designed to equip you with skills and knowledge to safely operate mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), commonly known as scissor lifts and boom lifts.

This course combines e-learning theory with practical sessions conducted over the weekend, ensuring maximum flexibility and learning efficiency.

Upon successful completion, you will receive a globally recognised IPAF operator licence, demonstrating your competence in operating both scissor lifts (3a) and boom lifts (3b). This qualification is essential for working in various industries, including construction, events, and maintenance.

Entry Requirements

To enrol in our IPAF course, you must:

Be at least 16 years old
Have a good understanding of the English language
Be physically fit to operate MEWPs

No prior experience is required.

Assessment

Assessment

The course consists of two main components:

E-learning Theory: You will complete online modules covering MEWP safety, legislation, pre-use inspections, and operating procedures.
Practical Assessment: Our experienced instructors will assess your ability to safely operate scissor lifts and boom lifts in a controlled environment. This includes pre-use inspections, safe operation, and emergency procedures.

To achieve certification, you must successfully pass both the theoretical and practical assessments.
