This qualification Level 2 NVQ Passive Fire Protection is a National Vocational Qualification which means that this qualification has been developed to be achieved in a real work environment. You need to be employed to undertake this qualification. This construction qualification is suitable for practising fire stopping.
This qualification will enable you to demonstrate and recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding and to demonstrate your competence in a real workplace environment so you can work within the construction industry as a Skilled Worker.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification Level 2 NVQ Passive Fire Protection.
We will carry out an initial assessment of candidate skills and knowledge to identify any gaps and help plan the assessment.
Assessment is the process of measuring a candidate’s skill, knowledge and understanding against the standards set in the qualification.
This qualification is competence-based, candidates must demonstrate the level of competence described in the units.
The qualification will be assessed in line with the Construction Skills Consolidated Assessment Strategy and will be internally assessed by an appropriately experienced and qualified Assessor.
