Anybody who works on the fabric of a building, built or refurbished before 2000, could potentially be exposed to asbestos. Not just those that work with asbestos directly.
The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 requires anyone who is likely to be exposed to or disturb asbestos at work to undertake asbestos awareness training.
This is a general awareness course and is ideal for all trades people and anyone who has responsibility for the management and upkeep of buildings.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.
We will carry out an initial assessment of candidate skills and knowledge to identify any gaps and help plan the assessment.
There will be Multi Choice Questions (MCQ) for the theory and underpinning knowledge.
